Joint the Welcome Wagon Team

It only takes 1 to 1 ½ hours to make someone’s arrival feel like home.

Welcome Wagon of Korea offers simple, meaningful volunteer opportunities for those who want to help Service Members and families feel welcomed as they arrive at Camp Humphreys. Whether you're available weekly or just once a month, we have a place for you.

Bus Greeter

Time Commitment: 1 to 1.5 hours

Location: Maude Hall Reception, Camp Humphreys or Osan AFB Terminal

Minimum: 1 bus per month to stay active

  • Unaccompanied Bus Greeter Duties:

  • Wait for brief(s) to finish (Osan arrivals may take longer)

  • Hand out welcome bags

  • Say "Welcome to Korea!"

  • ​

  • Accompanied Bus Greeter Duties:

  • 1 volunteer stays upstairs to pass the family bag to Service Members

  • 1 volunteer boards the bus, gives a short briefing to spouses, and answers questions

  • All Bus Greeters:

  • Show excitement

  • Grab bags from cage room before bus arrives

Welcome Bag Assembly

Time Commitment: Flexible, As Needed

Location: Maude Hall Reception, Camp Humphreys

  • Flexible schedule

  • Based on availability of supplies

  • Assist with organizing and assembling bags in advance of bus arrivals

  • Great for large volunteer groups
